Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to ensure exceptional customer service and an enhanced shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Report feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Competence in using store equipment safely.
• Capability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
