Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining store operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service
• Capable of operating a cash register efficiently and handling equipment
• Able to work in a team environment and follow instructions
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
