Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and aid customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
