Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of our store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and maintain professionalism in all aspects of the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with precision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team members and provide valuable feedback to the management team.
• Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and security measures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Knowledge of general cleaning procedures and ability to follow company standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
