Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. As a key member, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the core values and competencies expected at Aldi.
  • Process customer transactions, stock merchandise, and maintain displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational aspects.
  • Participate in store inventory procedures and uphold cash handling policies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to safeguard data and documents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Proficiency in customer service, cash register operation, and equipment handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain cleanliness, and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
