Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures for security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning duties and following policies accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with a team effectively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
