Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service will be key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security guidelines

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• High school diploma preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
