Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's appearance is maintained, assisting customers with their needs, and collaborating with team members for a seamless shopping experience. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week, starting at $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and maintain document confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
