Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies while upholding security and confidentiality
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register
• Proficient in equipment operation and general cleaning
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
