Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an optimal shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and participate in inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Experience in retail environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail is advantageous
