Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a Store Operations Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a key member of the ALDI team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers and collaborate effectively with team members
• Provide feedback to management on products and inventory
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
