Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and collaborating with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service.

Position Type:

Full-Time

Average Hours:

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation skills.
• Competent in using store equipment and following safety guidelines.
• Capable of cleaning duties and adherence to standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
