Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash policies
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain document security
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
  • Capable of operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Able to understand and apply company guidelines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in retail is an advantage
