Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operation and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while safeguarding document security and data confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment including hand jacks and scrubbers.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
