Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the outlined Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Report feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses and comply with company policies.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
