Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure security and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt customer service and operating a cash register.
• Capable of safely operating equipment and meeting cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and practical experience is beneficial.
