Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance and providing top-notch customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively with management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ensure data security.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Work well independently and in a team setting.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
