Store Team Member

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a valuable part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains its high standards of service and appearance. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service, all while working collaboratively with our team members.

Job Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Salary

Starting wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver excellent and friendly customer service, aiding shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies, safeguard documents, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficiently operate cash registers and store equipment.
• Maintain a clean environment to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
