Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at Aldi! As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. From cashiering to stocking shelves, your contributions will enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week, starting at $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• General cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience considered
