Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By working collaboratively with our team, you will play a crucial part in providing outstanding customer service and upholding ALDI's standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and report any issues to management.
• Participate in regular store inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail work experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and practical knowledge.
