Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
