Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute to inventory management and conduct store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Customer service and cash register operation skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job demands
