Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash handling and equipment operation skills
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Work effectively in a team or independently
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
