Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, your role will involve merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

$17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Participate in inventory procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Physical Demands

• Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and performing various physical tasks.
• Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
• Capable of using necessary equipment and following company standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
