Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cash handling guidelines
• Participate in inventory management and monitoring
• Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and carrying up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
