Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi's dynamic team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customer-friendly, and fully stocked. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, cleaning, and delivering exceptional customer service in collaboration with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and professional skills consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and other store matters.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash-handling policies diligently to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Proficiency in providing friendly and prompt customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to meet local and state requirements for alcohol sales.

Educational Background & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
