Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to enhance the customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and maintain neatly stocked shelves
• Provide excellent customer service, assist customers, and communicate effectively with the team
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
