Store Team Member

Job Description

Join ALDI as a Store Team Member and play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in store inventory counts and adherence to cash policies
• Comply with company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks in the store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience beneficial
