Job Description
Georgetown Hill Early School is seeking passionate Lead Teachers to join our Threes preschool programs at various campuses. Our mission is to provide an exceptional early childhood educational experience, focusing on meeting individual needs and fostering independence in a family-like environment. This full-time position offers a minimum pay of $22/hr for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate and creative curriculum for preschool children.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students under supervision.
- Support the physical, socio-emotional, and developmental needs of each child.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills within the classroom team and with families.
- Maintain a consistent, safe, and positive learning environment through classroom management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field with relevant certifications.
- 1-3 years of experience in early childhood education with a strong understanding of child development principles.
- Proficiency in MSDE regulations and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technological skills.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks as required by Maryland State Department of Education.
