Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Trach/Vent Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare, the largest pediatric home health care company in the U.S. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Assess patient conditions and coordinate care with the medical team.
- Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders and care plans.
Requirements
- Good standing license (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 6 months hands-on nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work with infants, children, and adolescents.
Preferences
- At least six months of recent experience in a clinical care setting.
- Previous experience in home health care.
Skills/Abilities
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, and reaching.
- Strong sensory abilities including visual, hearing, smell, and touch.
