Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Trach/Vent Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care following care plans and physician orders while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering quality patient care, assessing patient needs, documenting care activities, developing nursing care plans, and ensuring positive patient outcomes. You will be expected to comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practices to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in alignment with physician orders.
  • Continuously assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes as necessary.
  • Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly and accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans based on assessments.
  • Take appropriate nursing actions and interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control measures and educate patients and families.
  • Maintain nursing competencies through ongoing education and skill evaluations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

  • Six months of recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse.
  • Experience in home health care.
