Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Vice President, Late Development Team Lead for the Oncology division. This critical role involves leading the Late Development Team in setting and executing a global product strategy integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and business aspects. The ideal candidate will possess strong executive leadership, cross-functional collaboration skills, and drive innovation while balancing risks and program speed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cross-functional Late Development Team from proof of concept to approval.
- Establish and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with Jazz's mission.
- Develop and gain approval for Integrated Product Development Plans.
- Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and ensure team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with leaders to optimize development strategies and prepare for governance reviews.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of global drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
- Proven leadership in late-phase oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Ability to lead global cross-functional teams and manage collaborations effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, visionary leadership, and diversity and inclusion commitment.
Education and Licenses
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
